These papers are considered value-added compared to newsprint, thanks to their higher printing quality, higher brightness levels, smoother surfaces and higher pricing. However, the combination of wood-containing fibers, high filler content and modern high-speed machines makes these grades very demanding from a retention and drainage point of view.
